Daily summaries & raw readings
Review daily salt levels and the number of completed hours with reliable readings. Inspect recent sensor distances in inches, timestamps, and whether a reading is valid. Those hours describe data coverage, not how long your salt will last.
Connection & sensor health
On the web dashboard, check the latest report, sensor status, reported Wi-Fi network, signal strength in dBm, and time since restart. Network details appear when reported by your puck.
History you can inspect
Explore changes over time and inspect summary ranges and valid sample counts. Missing or unreliable readings are shown as gaps—not an empty tank.
Settings for your system
Manage enrolled pucks, tank dimensions, salt type, and bag weight. Choose optional email and text alerts at 25%, 15%, 5%, or Empty.
Salt amount and forecasts are estimates based on your tank settings and usable readings. The forecast predicts low salt—not an empty tank—and assumes similar use without a refill. Screenshots show example readings; your data will vary.

Get automated alerts by email, SMS, or both. Choose any or all of the available salt levels: 25%, 15%, 5%, and Empty.
Set up your alertsOptional alerts for your enrolled puck. No managed refill-service subscription is required.
Choose your channels and levels
Enable email alerts for your verified account email. To add texts, enter your mobile number, give separate consent, and verify the code we text you.
Know when your puck goes quiet
Enabled channels also warn you after a previously connected puck stops reporting for 48 hours. If it stays offline, we send one reminder no sooner than three days after the first alert.
Stay in control
Change alert levels or turn off either channel in Account settings. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. You can also send yourself a test text after verifying your number.

Will I get every level I select?
Each selected level normally sends once per refill cycle. If a reading crosses several selected levels at once, you receive the most urgent selected alert. Empty requires repeated valid readings; a missing or invalid reading is not an empty-tank reading.
Do alerts sign me up for salt delivery?
No. Device alerts and managed salt delivery are separate. Enabling email or texts does not enroll you in paid service or schedule a refill.
What should I know about text messages?
Texts require your opt-in and phone verification. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Carrier, email, internet, or power interruptions can delay or prevent alerts, so continue checking your tank as needed. See SMS Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Setup instructions are included. If your tank lid has a suitable opening with a removable plug, you may be able to remove the plug and mount Salt Puck over the opening without drilling. Drilling may be needed depending on your tank. You’ll need a nearby power outlet and 2.4 GHz home Wi-Fi. Follow the installation instructions to check fit and give the sensor a clear view of the salt.
